It is this commitment to excellence that has guided us in the creation of Extraordinary Standards, our comprehensive hygiene and health safety program to deal with COVID-19. All our staff are informed about our Extraordinary Standards so that they can perform the assigned tasks safely and thus avoid the possible spread of the disease within our establishments.

With our commitment, we develop an ENVIRONMENT OF TRUST, wanting to transmit security to our guest with the aim of guaranteeing that their stay is pleasant complying with the necessary requirements of well-being in the face of the great responsibility that the present demands of us.

General preventive measures

  • Employees wear masks at all times as part of their uniforms.
  • All employees are required to wash their hands, at the beginning of each activity, between activities, or after touching any surface. If for any reason, hand washing is not possible, they should use antibacterialgel.
  • Social distancing measures are promoted in all interactions between collaborators, guests and external suppliers. The areas where lines are normally made are properly marked to promote these measures. All employees are responsible for following these measures at all times.
  • In all areas, an information campaign has been permanently implemented, communicating the best prevention practices, as well as general operational measures.
  • The use of personal protective equipment is mandatory, depending on the function performed by the collaborator. Instructions for the correct use, cleaning and disinfection of equipment must be followed continuously.
  • Employees with fever or obvious cold symptoms are not allowed access. In case the employee presents symptoms, he will be asked to return home, and his immediate boss will be notified, as well as the human resources department. These cases will be closely followed, and the collaborator will not be able to return to the facilities until he overcomes the disease and does not present symptoms.
  • We have free rapid antigen tests available to customers, as well as agreements with the nearest pharmacies accredited for  testing and their corresponding COVID-19 certificates.
  • Upon arrival at the hotel and restaurants, the client must wait to be carried out an access control with COVID-19 Certificate by our staff, enter with a mask (which can be removed once he is seated at the table to consume), and will not be able to stand or sit at the bar.
  • Recommendation of prior reservation in breakfast, restaurants, activities, Spa and gym.
  • All staff wear disinfected uniforms on a daily basis.
  • Increased ventilation in common areas and rooms, and air purification system within our facilities.
  • Free access to the PressReader service to consult a wide variety of national and international press from the mobile device.
  • Each employee is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting their work area, including their equipment and tools at the beginning and end of each shift. In case of working from a shared station, disinfection is carried out after each use.
  • Use of specialized cleaning and disinfection products.

ACCESS PROTOCOLS

Upon arrival at the hotel, the client must wait to be carried out an access control with COVID-19 Certificate by our staff, and make use of the mask at all times.

Access to facilities

  • Collaborators who show symptoms are not allowed access.
  • All employees are required to use antibacterial hand gel when entering the facility.
  • Guests are invited to use the antibacterial hand gel dispensers located at the hotel entrances, but also available in the lobby, elevator access, restaurants, Spa and gym.
  • We have professional medical assistance available for all guests who require it.

Bellboys y Valet Parking

  • All staff in the valet parking area wear a mask.
  • Luggage trolleys as well as pens and equipment in the department are cleaned and disinfected after each use.
  • Valet equipment disinfects all contact surfaces.

Lobby and Interior Areas

  • Promotion of respect for social distancing measures, ensuring that the maximum capacity allowed is not exceeded.
  • All areas with high contact frequency are cleaned and disinfected at least every 30 minutes or less, depending on guest traffic. This includes handles, bars, buttons, and handrails.
  • The trolleys and equipment of the cleaning staff are cleaned and disinfected.
  • Signage in elevators and entrances of public toilets to show the maximum capacity of people, ensuring the monitoring of social distancing measures.

Check-in and Reception

  • Upon arrival at the hotel, the client must wait to be carried out an access control with COVID-19 Certificate by our staff.
  • All front desk staff must wear a mask as part of their uniform.
  • On desks or bars where additional protection is required, protective screens were installed.
  • All surfaces, equipment and supplies are cleaned and disinfected when each guest is served.
  • Antibacterial gel available for all guests. Employees must use antibacterial gel at the beginning and end of each process
  • The constant washing of hands of our collaborators is promoted, at least every 30 minutes or every time cash or bank cards are received at the time of payment.
  • We have specific prevention material (masks, thermometer, gloves …) available to the guest who needs it.

Rooms

  • Housekeeping staff wear protective gloves, wash their hands before and after cleaning each room, as well as use antibacterial gel constantly.
  • Dirty and clean whites are handled by different people and teams, both in collection and washing.
  • Housekeepingstaffcarts, as well as the tools and equipment used, are cleaned and disinfected at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • All surfaces with high contact frequency are cleaned and disinfected at least every 30 minutes, including handles, bars, buttons and handrails, among others.
  • Cleaning carts do not enter the rooms.
  • The pen and notepad are temporarily removed from all rooms, they will be available upon request. Magazines and other stationery are also removed.
  • Room service menus, pillow menu and Spa menus are available via QR technology.
  • Any collaborator who must enter a room, must wear their clean and disinfected equipment and mask.
  • Increased ventilation in common areas and rooms.
  • Safety plasticization in elements such as TV controls, extra blankets and extra pillows.

Restaurants, Bars and Kitchens

  • Upon arrival at the restaurants, the client must wait to be carried out an access control with COVID-19 Certificate by our staff, enter with a mask (which can be removed once he is sitting at the table to consume), and will not be able to stand or sit at the bar.
  • All the capacities of the consumption centers have been adjusted to respect the social distancing measures.
  • Free access to the PressReader service to consult a wide variety of national and international press from the mobile device.
  • The menus of all restaurants are available digitally through QR technology.
  • Antibacterial gel available at the entrance to each consumption center.
  • Cleaning and disinfection of each table and equipment of the same after each client.
  • At the buffet, utensils are replenished every 30 minutes.
  • In all restaurants, cloth napkins have been stopped, replaced by disposable paper napkins.

Spa and Gym

  • The capacity of wet areas, relaxation areas, gym and changing rooms has been reduced to ensure social distancing measures.
  • Every cabin and equipment is cleaned and disinfected after each use.
  • Digital menus of services are available through QR technology.
  • As part of the ritual of welcoming therapies and massages, employees should wash their hands.
  • All surfaces with high contact frequency are cleaned and disinfected at least every 30 minutes, this includes handles, bars, buttons and handrails.
  • Surfaces at the reception, equipment and payment terminals are cleaned and disinfected after each use.
  • Disposable paper and disinfectant product are available to the guest in the gym.
  • All pools are regularly cleaned and chlorinated, and analytical samples are taken monthly.

Supplier Access and Management

  • The use of a mask within the hotel facilities is mandatory.
  • Compliance with the cleaning and disinfection processes of collaborators, suppliers and products is promoted before entering the warehouse.
  • All employees are required to wash their hands at least every 30 minutes, between activities, or after touching any surface. Hand washing should last at least 40 seconds. If for any reason, hand washing is not possible, they should use antibacterialgel.
  • Social distancing measures are promoted in all interactions between employees and external suppliers. All employees are responsible for following these measures at all times.
